LEADERSHIP
Alex Maldonado
Alex Maldonado serves as General Manager at Jack Coleman Tennis Center. With 14 years of management experience, he holds PTR, PPR, and USTA Tournament Director credentials. He served as Tournament Director for the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup and has coached elite junior pickleball players alongside world-class professional tennis athletes.
Fort Battad
Fort Battad is a USPTA Elite Professional and former National Junior Champion of the Philippines. A business graduate of Oklahoma City University, he worked at Greens Country Club, Bent Tree, and Oak Cliff Country Club. Since 2002, he has transformed the Jack Coleman Tennis Center into a bustling hub for players of all ages and levels.
INSTRUCTORS & COACHES
Becky Pohlen
Becky Pohlen managed Samuell Grand Tennis Center and taught at Kiest, Fretz, and Eastfield College before joining JCTC. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in physical education from UNT, where she played varsity tennis after transferring from junior college. She retired in 2020 after teaching elementary PE for 25 years in the Richardson ISD.
