Ethan Arns
(Racquets Director)
Ethan has recently joined Oak Creek Tennis Center. He was born and raised in Quincy,
IL. Coming from a small, tight knit tennis community, he was heavily involved with the sport.
Ethan taught as a tennis professional for 11 years at the Quincy Racquet and Pickleball Facility,
where he has experience working with all different ages and levels. Ethan has spent the last 4
years coaching Division II Quincy University men’s and women’s programs, where he also
played college tennis from 2011-2015. At Quincy University, Ethan coached two Division II
nationally ranked doubles teams and one nationally ranked singles player. Ethan enjoys the
game and strives to help players of all levels improve. Coach Ethan has been the Adult Director at the Courts of McKinney for the last year.

From Director of Junior development at Lakes tennis academy, to Co-Academy Director at Courts of Mckinney, Co-Founder / Junior director at Tag Tennis, he now calls Oak Creek his home. Whether you're a beginner or have playing experience already, Bill can assist in making sure your foundation is set to ensure a stable growth in mechanics.

Austin has designed and delivered tennis clinics and lessons for all ages and skill levels, fostering a lifelong passion for tennis within the community. Austin believes that with desire, dedication, and discipline, anyone has what it takes to achieve greatness in a sport of a lifetime.

From being a competitive Jr to wanting to play professionally, Jai has an abundance of experience and can help your future tennis star develop to the best of their ability. We are very fortunate to have Jai lead the way here at Oak Creek and we are looking forward to all the things to come.

He's a two-time nominee for the United Way's Volunteer of the Year Award in San Antonio, thanks to his contributions to the Boy's and Girl's Club of America. Mike works with students of all ages and skill levels, including junior and adult classes, and numerous adult teams.

He’s been part of tennis since age five, competing at the sectional level as a junior and earning a college tennis scholarship before attending the University of Texas. At Oak Creek, Josh runs Tiny Shots and IPD - Intro Player Development, helping juniors and newcomers feel comfortable, capable, and excited to play, while also working with adult league players on doubles strategy for USTA, TCD, and Metro competition. He is RSPA Level 1 certified, USTA coaching certified, and pursuing RSPA Level 2 certification in February 2026 to support long term player development and goal setting. Parents appreciate his clear communication around levels, progress, and what comes next. If you need to find him, just listen - his voice tends to carry as he cheers on players all over the courts.

He holds a PTR Level 1 Tennis Coach Certification and a USTA Coaching Development Certification. Gerardo has experience working with players of all ages and skill levels, with a focus on building strong fundamentals, developing confidence, and helping each player reach their full potential. His coaching approach emphasizes safety, patience, and creating a positive and enjoyable environment where players can learn, improve, and build a strong foundation for continued growth and enjoyment of the game. Gerardo also offers tennis instruction in Spanish, helping make the sport more accessible and welcoming to the Spanish-speaking community.

James (Hea Nam) Leem is a USPTA-certified tennis professional with more than 20 years of
teaching experience in South Korea and the United States. He has played tennis for over 30
years and has competed in numerous tournaments in South Korea, earning multiple titles.
James is known for his strong passion for tennis and his commitment to quality coaching. He
teaches juniors and adults starting from age 6, with a strong focus on building solid
fundamentals, proper technique, and long-term player development. His goal is not only to help
students improve their tennis skills, but also to encourage healthy habits, confidence, and
overall well-being through the sport.
